• The toy itself is smooth and silky to the touch, and the tip is soft but slightly firm. The silicone material feels really nice, but I would definitely recommend using it with lube, if not,  it can feel a little bit tacky against the skin.

• It fit easily in the palm of the hand but it was’t easy for me to hold in my fingers.

• The Flash is rechargeable and prior to your first use, you’ll want to make sure the battery is completely juiced up. The toy pulls apart to charge via USB, and when you do so, a charging light will intermittently glow a bluish white light. When it goes to a constant glow, you’re good to go! I have to say that it charges pretty fast and seems to last for ages. That same button will glow red when the charge is running out.

The power button is on the bottom of the vibe and is easily turned on by simply pressing it. When you turn it on, a white light will glow. I have to say that the button is sometimes a touch temperamental, and requires a fair bit of pressure.

To turn off all you have to do is press and hold the button. Sometimes it seems to take longer than others, but can always slid it apart so it turns off in an emergency.

The packaging is neat and functional, it’s just a paper box, the usual white with a pink logo, and a description of the contents.


It says what it is, so this isn’t the most discrete packaging ever! The toy came nestled in plastic and it also had a small paper leaflet with some suggestions for use and operation instructions. 

The Flash has three speeds and several patterns, all on them buzzy rather than rumbly. I’m not a fan of them. I can’t stand them. They annoy me so much. The toy sure can make me come, but it takes longer than usual and I get bored and all bothered.

The toys itself is buzzy, and the buzzing noise gets louder when I pressed it against my clit in a certain way. I don’t understand why.

It isn’t as quiet as I hoped, it sure is in the loud side! I won’t say it’s too loud, but if someone stops outside your bedroom door they could probably hear it. So, you better turn on the tv or play some music when using it if you have roommates. 

The Flash does pick up a bit of dust as silicone tends to, much less noticeable than some other silicone toys, easy to clean and nothing to worry about! You can charge it up from a computer without worrying because it looks like a USB memory stick. Unless someone who knows about it or already owns one sees it.

The Lovehoney Flash Clitoral Vibrator isn’t something I would have typically purchased for myself. I got it  for free when I ordered the Sqweel Go. I didn’t feel like this was the right toy for me since I took it out of the box, but I can see it becoming a favorite to someone else. I have read many reviews about it and there are many people who loved it.

Sadly, there weren’t enough positive things about this toy for me to really enjoy it.  But we all have different tastes, don’t we? So, if you’re looking for an inexpensive toy that has moderate power behind it, the flash might be the perfect vibrator for you.
